From case data reception, model processing, and treatment plan confirmation to aligner production, quality inspection, packaging, and after-sales support, every step affects the final delivery experience.

What processes do clear aligners go through from intraoral scanning to production and delivery?

Clear aligner delivery usually starts with the reception of case materials and intraoral scan data. After the materials enter the treatment planning workflow, they go through steps including model processing, tooth movement planning, and treatment plan confirmation.

Once the treatment plan is confirmed, the production team carries out model fabrication, material processing, thermoforming, cutting and trimming, cleaning and inspection, as well as packaging and outbound delivery in line with the staged design.

Delivery completion does not mean the end of service. Follow-up visit feedback, wear records, attachment adjustments, and supplementary requirements need continuous follow-up to form a complete closed loop of online and offline collaboration.
